Pinar Eren is currently an Electronic Engineer at the 6G Health Institute, working in the 6G Health Lab. In her role, she is focused on advancing the connectivity and data management of medical devices through cutting-edge technology. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing communication protocols between medical devices and embedded systems to efficiently capture vital health data. She is also involved in migrating from Linux-based systems to microcontroller platforms, a crucial step in optimizing device functionality for real-time health monitoring. Pinar programs microcontrollers using Embedded C/C++ to interface with medical devices, ensuring accurate data capture and enabling real-time communication. Additionally, she processes raw biomedical data and prepares it for transmission to healthcare servers using the FHIR standard via 5G modems. Her work directly supports the 6G Health Institute’s mission to enhance medical device connectivity through modern cellular networks like 5G, facilitating secure and efficient remote patient monitoring. Before joining the 6G Health Institute, Pinar gained experience in quality control at Amazon in Kassel, Germany, and worked as a Trainee Engineer at Technische Universität Dresden, where she applied software solutions to enhance system performance. Pinar holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical-Electronics Engineering from Ondokuz Mayıs University in Turkey.
